We had some pretty
nasty weather here in North Texas this evening. The
forecasters had been warning about it for a few days now, and I gotta
say they were right-on with this one. We had some of the
tornado sirens going off in our neighborhood, but none were
spotted. The North part of Fort Worth was not so
lucky... A tornado touched down up there and did some damage
to a grocery store and a bunch of semi trailers, among other things,
including residences. I'm happy to say we all is well in the
Lanier RV-10 factory!

(18-4 step 8):
So, what do you do to get your mind off of tornado
sirens?? Well, dimple fuel tank ribs of course! Ok,
maybe it didn't happen like that… but Angela did dimple the
remaining ribs.

I took on the task
of deburring the skin holes… fun stuff… as usual
:-(

(21-2 step 1):
Always the antsy one ;-) Angela started eye-balling
the next section on our list… the ailerons! So, we
located the parts and she got to work deburring one of the spars.

| Not a whole bunch done tonight, but we're back-n-forth
between checking out the wicked looking skies, lightning &
hail, and building airplanes… who'da thunk! |
