the tailcone was complete Angela & I started looking for a place to
put it! Inside the house somewhere was the preferred location,
however, we soon learned it wouldn't fit through any door or window on
the house… hmmmm… have to find someplace out in the
garage. For now, we'll just set it off to one side, cover it with
some plastic to keep the dust off, and march on with other stuff...

| 17-2 step 4: No pics today… All we did was cut the VB-11 wing leading edge blocks and the flap cradles (used later for the flaps) out of some plywood. We figured since we were going to be making sawdust… lets get it overwith so we'll only have to clean up once! We're also updating some of our shelves in the kitchen so we've been cuttin' a bit of wood lately ;-) Sooo, after cutting a few 57 1/2" long rails out of some 2x2's we had laying around we screwed the cradles together and thats it... they'e together and ready for the leading edges... bring'em on! |
